The Delorean was a cool car of the 1980s. Designed by John DeLorean and built in Northern Ireland, the car was constructed with a stainless steel body. It also featured gull-wing doors. Supposedly, it was never available in black. Yet, according to this
BoldRide article, a rare black DeLorean was offered for sale on ebay.

Back in the 1980s, the DeLorean was an interesting exotic, but it never got full props as a supercar as it was slower than the Italian exotics of the day. However, it had a clean design. Unfortunately, John DeLorean was caught in a drug sting and went to prison. The car company didn't last much longer.
