This Johnny Lightning is a 1/64 scale version of the AMC Rebel Machine. The Machine was powered by a massive 390-cubic inch (6.4 liter) V-8 and was capable of 0 to 60 miles per hour in a lightning fast 6.4 seconds and had a top speed of 127 miles per hour.

American Motors Corporation never had the budget of the big three automakers, but it competed with some interesting cars. The Machine was basically a street-legal dragster that could be taken from the showroom to the dragstrip and do well.
