The Plan for the Daily Diecast Car Blog in 2016

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  2016 will be an exciting year for the daily die-cast car blog.

After a long stretch of minimal updates, I'm glad to say that I am loaded up with die-cast car photos.  At a minimum, you'll see new die-cast car photos every week.  I'll continually layer in more and more photos in to provide even more new die-cast car photos.  I'm also taking on the challenge and upping my game when it comes to die-cast car photography.  This will be a great spot for Hot Wheels Photos, for Matchbox Car Photos, and other die-cast car photos!  We're taking more and better pictures for this blog.

Finally, about once a month, you'll see a Friday Night feature video at the Diecast Drive-In.  It'll be a chance to catch some short videos of vintage die-cast car commercials.  With luck, we'll even reach our goal of a new car picture every day.  Overall, it should be a fun year for die-cast car photogaphy!

Welcome to the Daily Diecast Car Blog!

This blog is all about die-cast cars from big 1:18 scale diecast models down to smaller matchbox-sized cars.  I'll share my collection and cover cars from AutoArt, Bburago, Hotwheels, Johnny Lightning, Matchbox, Maisto and many other manufacturers. I hope you enjoy the photos, facts, figures, and stories that I'll share.  I'd like to read your comments, too.  Starting September 1st, my mission is to present a new diecast car photo each and every day!  Come back on September 1st and check us out!

I'm kicking things off with this premium Hot Wheels '56 Ford Delivery called "Editors Choice."  According to the Hot Wheels Wiki site, the model was released back in 2001.  I remember the packaging said something about the car being associated with a Hot Rod magazine.  Yeah, Yeah, this car would be more valuable in its original package.  But, my wheels were made to roll . . .

You'll see ads on this blog.  They'll come from Amazon and from Adsense.  I get to customize the ads from Amazon and I'll be using them to showcase even more kick ass diecast cars.  Definitely feel free to browse! Have fun!
