The drugstore shelves are a bit depleted and all the toilet paper is gone. But, some treasures remain. This little diecast 1956 Ford F100 Pickup Truck remains behind to take away the remaining merchandise. I only had time for a quick snapshot, but I think it's a 1:48 Kinsmart toy car.
For an inexpensive toy car, this one has a really rich paint job and a nice color.
This Blog presents cool photographs of die-cast cars. I am dedicated to photographing die-cast cars of all shapes and sizes. I feature photos of die-cast cars from Action, Bburago, Hot Wheels, Johnny Lightning, Matchbox, Maisto, and many other sources. Ideally, I'd like to show a cool new photograph of a die-cast car every day!

Hot Wheels Batmobile
For those of us who grew up in the 1970s, there is only one Batmobile: the original 1966 Lincoln Futura-based model from the TV show. Here's a Hot Wheels rendition of the famous car.

My Hot Wheels: 1970 Ford Escort RS1600 Rally Car
I unleased this interesting little Hot Wheels Race Day series car from its packaging the other day. It's a Hot Wheels 1970 Ford Escort RS1600 Rally Car with a Gumball 3000 sticker on the hood, sponsor decals from Bilstein and other race car equipment providers, and a bold number 3 on the side.
The original car was a lightweight speed demon that paired a 113 horsepower 1.6 liter engine with a lightweight 1800 pound car. That gave it enough fury to land a role in Fast & Furious 6. You can read more about the car and movie connection in this article on Edmunds.

Hot Wheels 1979 Dodge Lil Red Express Truck
This truck isn't red. But, it is the Hot Wheels version of the famed 1979 Dodge Lil Red Express Truck. It's a nicely detailed little Matchbox car with a great paint job.
It really shines in the profile. The striping is pure 1979 and the side pipes give it a macho edge that would be entirely politically incorrect in this environmentally aware era.

Matchbox 1970 Datsun 510 Rally Photos
The trouble with tiggers is that they are much bigger than this little '70 Datsun 510 Rally from Matchbox.
This is a 2017 model Matchbox car from the MBX Explorers series. It's ready to rally!
This car has a detailed paint job and a bright orange body. It's a cool addition to any model car collection.
If you are a fan of the Datsun 510, check out my Hot Wheels Datsun 510 Bluebird.

Hot Wheels Track Ripper Photos
I recently added this Hot Wheels Track Ripper to my collection. It is part of the 2019 Speed Blur series of cars.
I'm not sure what inspired this car. I see elements of a variety of cars. But, the Track Ripper definitely looks right at home in front of this aging garage.
The paint job on this little car reminds me of the paint found in spy photos of the latest test mules and concept cars from Detroit. I do think that the blue plastic bumpers detract from the overall look. But, it's a cool car.
