Hot Wheels Hump Day - Toyota 2000GT

This Toyota 2000GT from Hot Wheels looks great!  Only 337 of these special cars were ever made by Toyota.  Production ran from 1967 through 1970.  But, the short run of the 2000 GT proved that Japan could make a sports car to rival any that the world had to offer.  Today, the 2000GT is a very rare and valuable car.  Many consider it the first truly collectible Japanese car.

Hot Wheels Hump Day - Hot Wheels 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1

On this Hot Wheels Hump Day, the bright yellow of this 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 can even brighten up a big piece of granite.  This one has colors for the Annapolis Fire Rescue department.  I have to wonder if it was based on someone's real car.

Thriftstore Diecast: #16 Greg Biffle NASCAR Ride from 2005 Season

Diecast cars in thrift stores look like they've been raced hard and spent years trading paint.  This car has been around the block a few times.

 This was NASCAR racer Greg Biffle's car from the 2005 season.  In 2013, it graced the shelves of a Goodwill in Georgia.

Hot Wheels Hump Day - BMW 2002

It's time for a Hot Wheels Hump Day!  Here's my BMW 2002.  The BMW 2002 has always been my favorite BMW.  A friend of mine had a BMW 2002 many years ago as his first car and it was a fun car -- a very tossable performer!
