This Blog presents cool photographs of die-cast cars. I am dedicated to photographing die-cast cars of all shapes and sizes. I feature photos of die-cast cars from Action, Bburago, Hot Wheels, Johnny Lightning, Matchbox, Maisto, and many other sources. Ideally, I'd like to show a cool new photograph of a die-cast car every day!

Matchbox Tesla Model S
This is my Matchbox Tesla Model S. It's a small rendition of one of the world's first practical, electric, sports sedans. Just as the Morris Mini influenced the 20th century automobile, the Tesla Model S may well be one of the most influential cars of the 21st century.

The amazing Tesla outperforms nearly all conventional sports sedans. In the aggressive P90D configuration is sports 0-60 times of a little as 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 155 miles per hour. Even the base P70D has a 5.2 second 0-60 time and a top end of 140 miles per hour. Depending on the configuration, speed, and driving conditions, the Tesla Model S has a range of between 240 and 270 miles or more on an electric charge.

You can read more about the Tesla Model S at the Tesla Motors website. I think most consumers will want to follow the Tesla Model 3 which promises high performance, acceptable range, and safety for a $35000 target price point.
