I'm much more casual with my die-cast car photography, but it is fun to show off interesting landmarks as backdrops. For example, below this Ford Falcon XB takes a visit to the Cobb Energy Center in suburban Atlanta. This location served as the Centers for Disease Control in the popular television series "The Walking Dead." Fortunately, there don't seem to be any zombies on the loose now!
If the 1973 Ford Falcon XB's lines don't immediately trigger memories for American car enthusiasts, don't be alarmed. This is an Australian hot rod. It is most famous as the car from the movie - Mad Max! You might recognize it by taking a look at the AutoArt die-cast model below.
As the last of the V-8 Interceptors, the Mad Max version of the 1973 Ford Falcon XB had a 351-cubic inch (5.8 liter) V-8. In the movie, it also had a super-charger for more power.
