Die-cast British Taxi Cab |
This Blog presents cool photographs of die-cast cars. I am dedicated to photographing die-cast cars of all shapes and sizes. I feature photos of die-cast cars from Action, Bburago, Hot Wheels, Johnny Lightning, Matchbox, Maisto, and many other sources. Ideally, I'd like to show a cool new photograph of a die-cast car every day!

Diecast British Taxi
I saw these die-cast British taxis at a tourist shop in Florida. It sure is green! Most likely this is a model of the famed Austin FX4 that served as a "hackney carriage" from 1958 to 1982 and was then made by British Taxis International until 1997. This is a just a cheap Chinese-made toy, but it looks pretty good.
This cab has an unmistakeable British feel. Kind of like this London Phone Booth that is installed at the Universal Studios theme park in Orlando, Florida.
